Certain activities children might perform in the day might need supervision. At least that is what I am learning from this experience. As mommy is completely enraged after coming home from a long day of work and is now using Mr. Cleans Magic Eraser on the whole house. Calling daddy endearing words that express her love like “moron, lazy, and dipshit.” Then completely freaking out and yelling at the top of her lungs “Did you not see them drawing on the wall. Are you a complete moron?” But what mommy doesn’t know is daddy believes in supporting the arts and paper is an overrated medium. I was fully aware they were drawing all over the walls and kind of liked their artwork in a Pablo Picasso surrealistic way. I was hoping mommy would come home and cherish their artwork as much as daddy. That’s because daddy believes in allowing his children to express themselves and if that means our home is their canvas then have at it. Besides I knew I wasn’t gonna clean that mess.

Please support the arts. There are too many business majors graduating each year. We need losers with useless MFAs and Humanities degrees to thin out the competition.

Heck, sounds like good advice to me. However, I prefer to allow my kids to express themselves on the neghbors’ homes (their houses are bigger).
