Parenting Tip # 27 The Tooth Fairy

Due to the economic downturn it is important to teach your child, who is affected by this and when they lose a tooth and jump up and down, look at daddy and say “I am getting a dollar!” It is important to sit them down and tell them the tooth fairy had to cut back because dad lost his job at General Motors. Instead of a dollar, daddy can give you a shinny nickel, explain when grandpa was a kid, he could actually use a nickel to buy stuff. Then tell them if they invest that nickel, well they probably shouldn’t invest that nickel because it would be a waste. Tell them they can save that nickel to throw at a bums head when you take them to the city for the circus next week.
